Hi there. I have been self-learning/reviewing some statistics and R topics as of late. Through experimentation and trial and error, I have made Kaplan-Meier survival curves in R with the ggplot2 package.
Kaplan-Meier survival curve plots are used to model time to event data between groups. In one of the plots generated in R (see below), two methadone clinics are compared in terms of the times in days when clinic patients leave their methadone clinic.
The page on how to create Kaplan-Meier curves in R can be found here.
A good reference on Kaplan-Meier survival curves and the statistical field of survival analysis is the book Survival Analysis – A Self Learning Text (3rd Edition) by David G. Kleinbaum and Mitchel Klein.
